About the Captains

Family-run, Governor’s Harbour

Captain Paul Petty and his son Captain Richy have fished and explored Eleuthera waters their entire lives. They run a family operation built on local knowledge, professional service, and a genuine love for putting people on fish and unforgettable island days. Sight-casting bonefish on the flats, dropping baits on the reef, trolling the offshore drop, or running to the swimming pigs — the Pettys know where to go and when to be there.

Good to Know

Straight answers before you book

Do I need a fishing license?
Visitors fishing aboard a licensed Bahamian charter are covered by the operator’s permit — no personal license needed. Confirm with the captain when you book.
Can I keep what I catch?
Reef and offshore fish, yes — within Bahamian vessel limits. Bonefish and permit are catch-and-release; the flats fishery depends on it. Billfish must be released outside sanctioned tournaments.
What if the weather turns?
The captain makes the call — safety first, always. Trips are typically rescheduled when conditions blow out.
Is this good for kids and beginners?
Bottom fishing and island tours are perfect for families and first-timers. Bonefishing rewards patience — tell the captain your experience level and he'll set the day up right.
How do I pay?
Arranged directly with the captain when you book. Message on WhatsApp to confirm pricing, deposit, and payment method.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better in high season. WhatsApp is the fastest way to check open dates.

Trip details are provided by the captain and may change — contact directly to confirm pricing and availability. The request form sends a WhatsApp message; it does not confirm a booking. Live conditions: Open-Meteo, estimates only. Regulations summarized from public sources and subject to change.
